Three cheers for Beaches Councillor Sandra Bussin, who with the help of a staffer set about to repair the nerves of some constituents frazzled by a noisy local TTC bus. Bussin et al. suggested to TTC officials an alternate route for the bus, and their plan was eventually put into action. Jeers, however, to the same Councillor for insisting on recognition for actually doing her job from the Star’s folksy ‘Fixer’ column. Bussin apparently telephoned the Star staffer responsible for the column and demanded recognition above the TTC lackey who actually effected the re-routing. Someone must have a little Layton envy.
