Film Festivals A Go-Go
T-dot boasts more random film fests than you could ever hope to make fun of, but, if you weed the interesting (resfest) from the unfortunately named (giggleshorts), you come up with a few that are worth your patronage. Moving Pictures, the fest of films about dance, pirouettes onto the TO stage from November 4th-7th, promising shorts and longs of all shapes and sensibilities. It all goes down at the Royal, home of those mildy uncomfortable extend-o-seats, where the opening nights shorts program looks postured to be good.
There’ll also be a 3-D piece by UK artists Billy Cowie and Liz Aggiss at Trinity Square Video that looks all kinds of awesome. The exhibition starts November 5th.
