Bad Eyedeas & Diss-Abilities
For those who liked the emotive rants on Atmosphere’s last album, tonight’s Eyedea & Abilities concert at the Mod Club is the place to be. Rhymesayer Entertainment brings the irrelevant Minnesota rhyme and turntable act through the city with their Leave of Absence Tour. The tour is presumably called Leave of Absence because the duo have been absent of a good song idea since 2001’s First Born, or hopefully will go absent altogether very soon. While emcee/lyricist Eyedea and DJ/turntablist Abilities win all kinds of rhyming battles and turntable competitions, they still manage to be irritating on record.
