A WORLD OF SHORTS
Get it. It’s a show of shorts from around the world, and so they call it A World Of Shorts. Very very good name. It’s short, like the shorts themselves, and worldly, which makes us think diversity, which is always a good thing to inspire when you’re holding an event at the NFB. Yup, A World of Shorts goes down tonight at the enefb, dropping films from Iceland, Poland, Netherland and some other lands. Bring your worldly shorts. The one American offering on the bill is Dysenchanted, a short that stars ‘According to Jim’ Belushi, and ‘Gilmore Girl’ Bledel. TV celebrities in shorts? Is that slumming, or is it a step up? Torontoist isn’t entirely sure. But we promise to stop making fun of the title now. How utterly puerile of us.
