It seems that Bob Rae is the Liberal candidate most likely to get Ontarians to vote for him. However, he is also the Liberal candidate most likely to get Ontarians to vote him. Thus, Bob Rae is the Canadian version of Hillary Clinton. You heard it here first, people!

With SH, it's one present after another. Here's what the big guy has passed down over the past two weeks:

Belinda, the Good Minister of the Government Side, killed off her wicked counterpart when she rode her broomstick across the floor last spring. And what a breathetaking view it was to watch her do it! With her mix of power and finesse, Ms Stronach could even be inspiration for a new hip-hop dance move entitled "Cross the Floor." It would go something like this: First, perfect a finishing school strut across the dance floor (or a walk in place), making sure to stop to the beat. Then, keeping with the rhythm, wave goodbye to Vic Toews with your right hand and hello to Ujjal Dosanjh with your left hand -- all the while chanting, "Cross the floor / cross that floor baby / cross the floor!" (To the tune of Missy Elliot's "Pass that Dutch").

The Liberals brought a similar bill before parliament in May 2003, but lost momentum when Martin called the June 28 federal election. Although the decriminalization bill was supported by all parties the first time around, it is expected to face some new opposition in parliament. Mustachioed Torontonian MP Jack Layton and his NDP have supported the proposed bill, while the Conservatives are thought to be against. According to Conservative Manitoba MP Vic Toews, his constituents "would rather be working than smoking drugs." But that really depends on where you work, doesn't it?
