On any given weekday, around 5 p.m., you can expect to find a bit of a mob gathered around the corner of Queen and John. That’s when MuchMusic's Much on Demand airs live and excitable teens like to gather to catch a glimpse of a celebrity—any celebrity. And since it's March Break this week, you can expect double the crowds as guests like Christian rock band Relient K and High School Musical's Jordan Pruitt drop by to plug their products.

Opposition parties are crying foul over Harper's use of military jets. After accusing the Liberals of overusing the jets for personal business during their time in government, Harper used one to fly his son to Toronto for a Leafs game. Pot, meet kettle.

Sir Richard Branson becomes an ally in the fight for 'number portability.' The head Virgin has taken out a full page ad in today's Globe, beseeching 'Canada's 15 million mobile customers' and interested Canadians to speak up in support of 'number portability.' Number portability is industry speak for keeping your number when you switch carriers. Obviously, Sir Rich has a vested interest in the right to keep and switch, as it would inspire more people to cross over to Virgin, but it's a good opportunity to get something Canadians deserve all the same. Branson's ads invite people to email their support to mynumberismobile@virginmobile.ca, or to write to the Canadian Wireless Telecommunications Association. Without Richards' push, the CWTA has plans to roll out number portability in late 2007. Naturally, Branson says this "is an absolute disgrace and completely unacceptable."
