2007_08_20_harper.jpgThe so-called Three Amigos Summit will take place this week at a resort in Montebello, Quebec, where the leaders of Canada, the U.S. and Mexico will meet with business executives to discuss stuff that's none of your business. Incidentally, the tag line for the 1986 movie The Three Amigos was "They're Down On Their Luck And Up To Their Necks In Senoritas, Margaritas, Banditos And Bullets!"

We know it's hot out there. It's so hot that last night was on record as the hottest night in Toronto ever. Heck, try to avoid the A/C all together.

Back to the Sugar Camp show sets the atmosphere for a hour of listening that makes us feel like we’ve been transported out of Toronto and into a small town in Northern Ontario.

The Globe reports today that AGO membership is up by 45%. This, when amazing artist Seth's show opened yesterday. Coincidence? We think not. Nevermind the fact that the 45% stat is for the entire fiscal year. We're sure it's Seth's show that's bringing in the numbers. The Seth show, a first for the AGO, "features original ink drawings from Clyde Fans, his current and ongoing story, plus a tableau of cardboard buildings created from the artist’s imagination that inventory local landmarks of the fictional, time-locked, Northern Ontario city of Dominion." Hooray for dioramas. Seth also speaks tonight at 7pm. And its free. But get there are early, because there will probably be 45% more people there than there might have been last year.
