Spitfires & Mayflowers launch their triumphant CD with a party this evening. They promise a night full of "helium balloons, The Barmitzvah Brothers, cupcakes, The Decoy Mile, pin-the-tail-on-the-donkey, MC "eye coverboy" Nick Flanagan, handslaps" and more. That's probably a bit too much mirth for a Thursday night, but we can handle it. And so can you. Especially since the band went to the trouble of packaging all their new discs by hand.
