The TTC spent today showing off their preferred model for the future of public transit in Toronto in the middle of Dundas Square: a light rail vehicle or, more accurately, half of a full light rail vehicle that Bombardier is showing off around North America—most recently in Milwaukee, where the paint scheme seen here is used for public transit. (Apparently, in Milwaukee, they like their transit to be ugly yellow.)

With Chris Bosh spraining his finger just six minutes into the first quarter of Sunday's game against the Milwaukee Bucks, it was Raptor rookie Charlie Villanueva who stepped in for the all-star forward. Villanueva scored an NBA rookie season-high 48 points on 20-for-32 shooting. Unfortunately the Raps came up short, losing 125-116 in overtime.

With the signing of AJ Burnett (pictured with Florida singer Brandy Rich) and BJ Ryan, the Toronto Blue Jays will pay $102 million to two pitchers who use letters as first names. Raptor Coach Sam Mitchell had some strong words prior to Wednesday’s 110-107 loss to the Milwaukee Bucks. In clarifying Tuesday’s night’s rumored altercation with point guard Rafer Alston, Mitchell called out the Gund Arena cleaning crew for keeping a messy house.
