It seems like ages ago that calling our fair city "Hollywood North" meant something. Blockbusters used to set up shop on a regular basis and you could stroll through the University of Toronto campus and see pylons, trucks, and signs for a film going by the rather odd name "Good Will Hunting." So much hooplah and many huzzahs greeted news that The Incredible Hulk would be filming here this summer. A "re-boot" of the......

Good news for our Mississauguaguaguanian readers: UTM, as part of its fourtieth anniversary, is hosting "Flicks on the Field," two free family-friendly outdoor movies shown on a big screen with (and it's good that they note this as far as outdoor screenings go) "professional projection and sound." As earlier reported, Canada’s refusal to participate in the President’s Missile Defense Shield, has led to a variety of fallouts - leaving the situation in a bit of disarray. In the classic movie Mean Girls, Lindsay Lohan plays the role of Cady Heron, a home-schooled foreigner who arrives at her new California public school and finds out that teenage life is......

Just from the three or four lines exchanged between the Wicked Witch of the West and Glinda the Good Witch, you could tell there was a little bit of history there. It turns out the two witches actually had a close, non-sexual relationship - according to the stage production of Wicked. The outgrowth of the classic Wizard of Oz looks at the complicated lives of witches, and acts as a prequel to the well known......
