On Sunday, as an unofficial kickoff to the Walk21 pedestrian conference coming to Toronto next month, the Walking Life exhibit opened at the Gladstone Hotel.
Two weeks ago LEAF (Local Enhancement & Appreciation of Forests) invited people out for a free walk in and around Leslie Grove Park to explore the trees in the neighbourhood. Todd Irvine, a professional arborist at LEAF, took 25 people on an enlightening two hour journey.
