This, the first installment of what will (hopefully) be a weekly segment for Torontoist, will explore the phenomenon of podcasting. Torontoist has one of those Ipods to cast, but no money to buy new music, and is too lazy and scared for downloading.

A relatively light upcoming week in shows still has some fine musical happenings to help you kill time while waiting for the apocalypse. And curiously, all on the waterfront.
