Sometime in the 1990s, almost a decade before "inventor of the flashmob" Bill Wasik convinced a few dozen people to stand in a department store in New York, people started organizing massive pillow fights. Our own very Kevin Bracken, co-founder of newmindspace with Lori Kufner, just posted this video online today of the massive game of Capture the Flag that they organized at the end of September. 1,200 people showed up, which, at last count, is quite a lot.
