COMEDY: Joke Club, the long-running, anything-goes comedy night, is back. With the wide array of comedians performing (Bob Kerr, Craig Brown, Vida Zukauskas, Randy Hughes, Jimmy Hogg, Makesi Arthur, David Dineen-Porter, and others), expect to see all types of humour from the crowd-pleasing irony to its poor cousin sarcasm and some pitch-perfect deadpan. Host Nick Flanagan, a regular at the Rivoli’s Laugh Sabbath night, is also famous for performing rare feats like making indie kids laugh. Comedy Bar (945 Bloor Street West), 9:30 p.m., $6.
