Newmindspace would like to wish you a very fun 2007 by offering their documentary, "Into a Newmindspace," for free online. The 15-minute film chronicles Queen of Hearts, which saw Queen West covered in thousands of chalk hearts last Valentine's Day, a massive pillow fight in New York City, and a smashing underground party to celebrate the subway's birthday in March.

Who likes lists? Everybody! As we creep up on the new year, we thought we'd reflect on a few of our more popular (and our more controversial) posts of the past twelve months. Thanks to our revamped Favourites page, it's a little easier. If nothing else, this post will give you some reading material to glance over while you're busy getting spiffy for this fine evening.

Happy New Year, film fans! Or, perhaps, not. For we’ve slammed like so much booze filled new year vomit upon the tarmac of the post-Christmas lull, in which basically nothing of interest is released in any format. Certainly this week fans of more high brow cinema will have to hang on like those last few drips of chunky bile saliva for Cinematheque Ontario’s winter programme, starting on January 13th, which we’ll probably talk about then, and which features yet more Mikio Naruse, but lots of other exciting stuff like a limited run of The Passenger, the long lost hidden by Jack Nicholson flick.
