Michael Moore’s much anticipated Sicko hits, and having seen it, we can say it’s not particularly essential for Canadian viewers to watch, unless you want to feel smug about our lovely health care system, or slightly surprised that it only takes an hour or so in London (Ontario) to be seen in an emergency room. Yes, the film is chock-a-block with anecdotal evidence, and it’s probably to the film’s fault that, as usual, Moore is selective with his anecdotes to only show free universal health care in a positively glowing light.

Well, not even a week until the Film Festival is left, and frankly, Torontoist is ever so slightly… No, scratch that, we’re utterly crapping our pants over the enormity of trying to cover the world’s largest film festival. We’re only little!

Most interesting is the fact that officials say it took 20-25 truck loads to cart away all the NaCl. Yes, the Belfast robbers impersonated police in an elaborately-planned hostage heist, but carting away two dozen truckloads of salt is like taking a page from practical. Most of the Belfast bills are traceable. TOist doubts the same is true for the salt.
