Normally an $8 TTC day pass during the week will take one person as many trips as they can muster after 9:30am. But for March break, all this week (March 13th thru March 17th), the day pass will operate like a weekend day pass - and take up to 6 people (maximum 2 adults) all day long. Assuming you use tickets or tokens, you'll break even on a round-trip for two, and any travel after that is sweet savings.
Same price, same pretty good service, but more people - beginning September 1, 2005, the TTC monthly Metropass will be transferable. This means when you’re not travelling, your loved one, pal, sister and arch-nemesis can all borrow your Metropass to get around town. Also newly available is the TTC Weekly Pass. This works the same way as the monthly pass, but costs only $30 (adults) or $23.75 (students & seniors) and lasts only for one week. Because of all these changes, adults no longer need photo ID (but students and seniors still do).
