Today Apple offered us a refresh of their entire iPod line, making us want to blindly toss our money at the company once again. One Torontonian, however, is getting some coin thrown her way—big time. Indie darling Leslie Feist has found her track "1234" at the core of the new worldwide iPod nano television spot. Even better, Apple is touting the device's new ability to play video, and prominently features the "1234" clip, directed......

Alanis Morissette has done the impossible and turned the Black Eyed Peas' "My Humps" into a legitimately good song. Sure, we may be the last people in the universe to write about this (the video was uploaded just yesterday, and it's already been featured everywhere from Perez to Pitchfork), but we can't get over how much better her rendition is. It's still not the greatest song in the universe, but Morissette does an admirable job......

The Flaming Lips! The Raconteurs! Wolfmother afros! And keep your eyes on the sky...you never know, you might see Richard Branson descending to earth perched on a flock of birds or something. As always, if you know of a good......

By virtue of the world wide web, Neil Young's famous 1973 concert recording, Time Fades Away, is now available in digital format. Online petitions abound, the classic Young performance has been mythologized as one of the greatest live performances not for sale - supposedly on par with Dylan's Newport performance since Young peeved off the audience with his song choices (ie. not playing Harvest). The songs can be heard right here Other notable unreleased......

The Grey Cup half-time show must have deeply affected the Prime Minister, as he quoted lead singer Fergie yesterday to kick off a re-election campaign. Martin, not known for this level of exhuberance, took the chorus from the Black Eyed Peas "Let's Get It Started" when he exhuberantly exclaimed, "Let's Get Start [It] Started" before a wild crowd of Liberals and Liberal-supporters. Martin was present for the controversial half-time performance, which featured booty-bass driven "My......
