Vandalist: Caught on Tape

There's something about the clean lines and geometric shapes created from tape art that is incredibly satisfying. So much of the street art we see is organic, full of curves, tones, and evidence of the artist's hand. This piece has stripped the medium down to something very minimal; the stark contrast between it and its surroundings making it stand out all the more. Not too shabby for a few pieces of tape.

Good thing yarn bombs have been popping up all over Toronto, adding bursts of colour to some of the most otherwise drab elements in our cityscape.
