WHAT: With Toronto’s 2015 Pan Am Games three years away, the event’s organizing committee is seeking publicity. One aspect of the campaign is these pianos. There are 41 of them, each painted to represent a different Pan Am country. They’ll eventually be distributed to different locations around the city (see a map of locations here), but the photos above were taken Tuesday night at David Pecaut Square, where the pianos were all gathered for a public concert, hosted by Jian Ghomeshi. The project is known as “Play Me, I’m Yours.” Its creator, Luke Jerram, has staged it in other cities around the world.
