The photo at left -- refresh this page to see a new one -- is one of thousands upon thousands of user-submitted shots to our group on Flickr (Flickr is the best photo management and sharing site on the planet, by the way). If you're a fan of pretty pictures (and let's be honest, who isn't?), there's no better collection of photographs of our city. Members of the group include some of the most talented and recognized photographers in the city, as well as unknown but gifted amateurs working their way up. If you use an RSS reader like Google Reader or Bloglines, you can even subscribe to the group pool's feed and stay updated with the latest photos.

If you're a photographer yourself -- famous or not so much -- the Flickr group is a great way to get your shots featured on Torontoist. At the very least, you'll be internet famous! We use photos from the Flickr group back here on Torontoist for all sorts of cool stuff, whether it's for our Daily Photoist (a featured photo from the group selected every day), in our weekly collection of shots that we like, our daily news roundups, topical posts that we need a great image for, or, in some cases, just to feature some amazing captures that are submitted to the group as a shot in our photoTO category. No matter what, we'll always give you credit and always link back to the image if we ever use it on Torontoist.
