Photojournalist David Burnett was on assignment in Jamaica in 1976 when he first met Bob Marley and photographed him for Time magazine. A follow-up story a year later for Rolling Stone yielded more shots of the reggae icon, but only a couple of the pics were published. “Bob Marley: Soul Rebel” is an exhibit based around Burnett’s book of the same title, and Burnett will be on hand for a 5 p.m. signing session at the opening, with music by DJ Brett Millius to follow.
