Flooding at St. Clair West Station causes service disruption during morning rush hour.
Commuters looking to jump on a subway on the northern leg of the University-Spadina line this morning have found themselves boarding shuttle buses instead: flooding at St. Clair West Station has resulted in the suspension of subway service between Lawrence West and Spadina Stations. TTC and Toronto Fire staff are currently working to remove water from track level—and 70 shuttle buses will be operating along the route until service has been restored.
The TTC suggests that riders can also take the 52 Lawrence West bus from Lawrence West to Lawrence Station; the 32 Eglinton West bus from Eglinton West to Eglinton Station; and the 512 St. Clair streetcar from St. Clair West to St. Clair Station.
The problem has been solved, and full service has resumed on the line.
