Trains won't be running between Woodbine and Kennedy stations from June 14 to 15.
The TTC will be shutting down subway service on Line 2 (Bloor-Danforth) between Woodbine and Kennedy stations from June 14 to 15 for scheduled track replacement, in the third and final planned weekend closure of this scope at this location.
TTC construction crews will be replacing track switches during the shutdown, which should make for more reliable service—although a speed restriction on westbound trains travelling between Warden and Victoria Park stations will remain in effect until the end of the month, giving the track foundations time to settle.
Shuttle buses will run between Woodbine and Kennedy during the closure, making all regular station stops. Wheel-Trans buses will also be available for those who need them at Pape, Victoria Park, and Kennedy stations.
Regular (albeit slowed-down) subway service will resume on June 16.
