Let Toronto Public Health put you in the mood with new city-branded prophylactics.
Will the CN Tower make an appearance? Almost certainly. And maybe the Rogers Centre? We’ll have to wait until June 4 to find out—that’s when Toronto Public Health will be unveiling the wrapper design for its new “condomTO.”
Apparently, when condoms are readily available, people use them more. So Toronto will be following the lead of other cities like New York and Los Angeles and creating its own branded condom, which will then be made available free of charge in bars, clubs, hotels, gyms, and clinics.
This will, however, be a limited-edition condom, so if you want some protection courtesy of one of the safest and most polite cities in North America, you’ll probably have to snap them up—because once these things pop up around town, they’re liable to go fast.
