Vandalist: Hunto Picasso

Les Demoiselles de Queen West.

Picasso

BY: Hunto
LOCATION: Rush Lane (a.k.a. Graffiti Alley)
FIELD NOTES: Do you think Picasso ever went through a graffiti period? Perhaps a century ago in some Spanish suburb, property owners were cursing the hooligan whose work went on to be worth millions upon millions of dollars. We love graffiti, because you almost never know who’s really behind the work. This Hunto crew certainly has some talent. Who knows—maybe they’ll become the most celebrated artists of the 22nd century.

Once a week, Vandalist features some of the most interesting street art and graffiti from around Toronto. Find something great? Email vandalist@torontoist.com.
