FIELD NOTES: There are many potential dangers in demolishing a building. Even a tiny error in judgment can end in tragedy. We’re fortunate enough to have strong safety regulations and professional demolition crews to keep everything safe, but there are some hazards that no one can prepare for. Like, for example, unearthing a giant, pink, angry bear. That we haven’t heard about such a creature rampaging through the city points to the competence of our demo crews. Thanks, guys.

    Neat.
Wonder how long it’s been there

I passed by Women’s College Hospital after work and couldn’t find it. Is it gone?

There was one at the corner of Montrose and Dundas at Trinity Bellwoods park:

But the City removed it yesterday…. Pretty sad.
