  • Darwin the monkey—better known as “the Ikea monkey”—will remain in an animal sanctuary thanks to a court decision against Yasmin Nakhuda, his former owner. Nakhuda had been suing the Story Book Farm Primate Sanctuary for Darwin’s return.
  • Meanwhile, off in another courtroom, the Crown dropped dropped its case against a woman who allegedly threw juice at Mayor Rob Ford.
  • Why don’t U.S. celebrity weeklies publish that many pictures from the Toronto International Film Festival? Apparently because it’s “littered with unsightly metal barricades and photo walls covered in logos.” [Via Canadian Magazines]

    We care about what US weekly magazine does?

    Meh….celeb magazines don’t cover it as they don’t cover any events outside of the award shows and individual weddings.

    Never quite understood why Global always has this thing about having to find favour from the US. Oh wait…they get EVERYTHING from the US.
