Bao 360 Shanghai Express and Bourbon St. Grill are both done for the year.
The cronut burger saga may only have been the tip of the iceberg (or maybe, in this particular case, the fatberg). Two more CNE food stalls have just been closed by Toronto Public Health for, among other things, failing to “prevent gross unsanitary conditions.”
Bao 360 Shanghai Express and Bourbon St. Grill, both operated by Innovated Restaurant Group, were closed after failing health inspections yesterday. The full list of infractions is on the City’s DineSafe website. (Here’s Bourbon St. Grill’s rap sheet, and here’s Bao 360′s.)
CityNews is reporting that both food stalls will remain closed for the remainder of the Ex. When a restaurant gets shut down by Toronto Public Health, it faces the possibility of hefty fines and licensing tribunal hearings.
