| FIELD NOTES: | We have a visitor, Toronto. West coast–based Troy Lovegates, a.k.a. Other, is gracing us (and our streets) with his presence (and presents!). Prolific and talented to boot, this Canadian street artist has been creating fantastic graffiti since the late ’80s. If you’re lucky, you have a ticket to the AGO’s 1st Thursday next week, where you’ll get to see Lovegates do his thang in a more formal/legal setting. If you aren’t one of the lucky ones, worry not: our guess is that this isn’t the only piece of his on our streets. |
