  • Target appears to be making good on its promise to open the first of its Canadian stores this spring. You can now even apply for a loyalty card. Before you fill out any forms, though, bear in mind that the company has some fairly sophisticated ways of tracking your buying habits.
  • UrbanToronto has some better renderings of that Will Alsop–designed condo we were talking about yesterday.
  • One of the new BlackBerry phones had its official Canadian retail debut today. And while there weren’t any huge, iPhone-style lineups, analysts think sales have been strong enough.
  • Just in time for Valentine’s Day, Toronto Public Library has launched a revamped donation program. A minimum $10 contribution gets a library-themed greeting card sent to the person of your choice.
