- The Bloor Hot Docs Cinema is going to be adding a second screen, says Hot Docs executive director Chris McDonald. It’ll go right behind the existing one, in some unused space apparently left over from the theatre’s vaudeville days.
- Toronto FC has a new coach, Ryan Nelsen. He’s kind of a big deal in New Zealand, where he plays for a team called the Queens Park Rangers. Incidentally, he’s still under contract to that team, and nobody knows when he’ll be free to come to Toronto.
- Did you accidentally leave your stolen car on the bottom of Lake Ontario? We have some good news for you.
- Deadmau5, the Toronto-based DJ, did what we have always secretly wanted to: at a border checkstop somewhere, he apparently put his entire body through a baggage X-ray machine. And yes, there is video.
