WHERE: Bay Street and City Hall.
WHEN: Tuesday, November 27.
WHAT: The Toronto Argonauts crushed the Calgary Stampeders during the 100th Grey Cup on Sunday, making our city’s team this year’s CFL champions. As sports victories go, this is nothing on the order of a World Series or a Stanley Cup, but it’s still pretty awesome, and so today there was a parade up Bay Street from Union Station. The procession ended at Nathan Phillips Square, where noted football fan Rob Ford—still smarting from yesterday’s court decision and probably in need of cheering up—hoisted the cup and congratulated the victors.
