  • Cadillac Fairview is planning a $350 million renovation of Sherway Gardens mall. According to Urban Toronto, this will mean a whole hell of a lot more shopping space for Etobicokians.

  • Could it ever happen here? New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg is now on the record as saying he thinks cyclists and pedestrians are “more important than” drivers.
  • Ah, there’s nothing like a good-old-fashioned taxi war.

    Michael Bloomberg was with the Democratic Party (until 2001), Republican Party (2001–2007), and is now Independent (2007–present). He was mayor of New York City since 2001, winning three elections.

      And he’s a billionaire who made his own wealth (and has a functioning brain)… unlike the Fords. He’s the example I use of someone who’s fiscally responsible, provides an excellent path towards urban planning and useful environmentalism, provides a measure of public housing, and has a balanced transportation plan.
