Vandalist: Inside Out
Global street art project makes its way to Toronto.

| FIELD NOTES: | From the slums of Kenya to the favelas of Brazil to the University of Toronto, the Inside Out Project is spreading across the world. It tells the stories of community members using large-scale portraits, raises awareness about important issues, and brings art to people who have no access to it. The project is both insightful and humorous—but, best of all, these simple posters are actually making a difference. If you’d really like to see how the Inside Out project has had an impact around the world, and if you have 25 minutes to spare, the TED talk is an excellent watch. |
