TTC worker was killed this week in an accident at track level.
At about 4:45 a.m. on September 14, Peter Pavlovski, age 49, was killed in an accident while working a shift on the TTC tracks north of Yorkdale station. The road master (a track and tunnel foreman) had been with the TTC for 22 years.
Today, his family released this brief statement:
Our family is grieving the tragic and untimely death of our beloved Peter, together with countless others who had the privilege of knowing him. Peter was a dedicated father and a loving husband. He was a hard worker and generous to a fault. We appreciate the outpouring of grief from family, friends, neighbours and colleagues. We ask for your respect for our privacy in the difficult days ahead and for your continued prayers.
