Two new giant light sculptures will hover 20 feet over the Humber Bridge until September 30.

WHEN: Thursday August 16, 10 p.m.

WHAT: For the next six weeks, those crossing the Humber Bridge will have their travels marked by two new light sculptures. Created by interactive arts, the same group that brought the user-controlled Heart Machine installation to Nuit Blanche last year, the volunteer-made sculptures were “inspired by the bridge and the surrounding waterfront.” Interactive arts describe the sculptures as “long dancing creatures,” and their arrival was celebrated with a party on the bridge last night.
