Scene: Butter Sculpture at the Ex
Mayor Rob Ford, constructed out of butter.
WHERE: The Farm at the Canadian National Exhibition
WHEN: Friday, August 24
WHAT: Every year, as part of its farm-themed exhibition, the Ex hosts several butter sculptors who create dairy art over the opening few days of the event. This year, among the sculptures is a buttery Rob Ford, reading a buttery book by Margaret Atwood, leaning on a buttery steering wheel. It is a history of Rob Ford’s gaffes in 200+ kilos of butter, essentially. It—along with other butter sculptures (which take on the theme of “under the sea”)—will be on display until the Ex closes next weekend.
