Photo shows why articulated buses were not that useful when they were used by the TTC. People boarding at the front doors to pay fares.

At least when the TTC gets the articulated buses, this time with PRESTO, passengers will use ALL the doors to board and egress. Unfortunately, there will still be people who would continue to use ONLY the front doors no matter what.

PRESTO is not a way to allow multi door loading any more than a second fare box is. You still need someone there to ensure that customers tap on and pay their fare!

Yet the TTC has POP without anyone or any new-fangled bitty-bop machines at the back doors of streetcars.

Add to which, most people that travel in said fashion by POP on Queen Street usually only travel short distances anyway (myself when going to the camera store to pick up my photos and drop off my film, or anything else.)
