Scene: The 2012 Honda Indy
A look at one of Toronto's speediest (and nosiest) annual traditions.
WHERE: Exhibition Place
WHEN: Saturday, July 7 and Sunday, July 8
WHAT: Each year, the Honda Indy turns Exhibition Place into a high-speed racetrack, and also fills downtown with the lawnmower-times-a-million sound of engines revving. Last weekend, at the 26th annual Indy, Ryan Hunter-Reay, a driver from the US, came in first place after leading the pack for much of the race. Our camera was closer to the action than most spectators are able to get. Click through for a look at what happened before Reay crossed the finish line.
