- Yesterday, the Toronto Cyclists Union sent out a letter to inform its membership that there will be a vote, at this year’s annual general meeting, on whether or not to change the organization’s name to “Cycle Toronto.” By dropping the “union”—a loaded word in recessionary times—the TCU’s board thinks they’ll attract new members. Pro-bike activist Dave Meslin isn’t so sure.
