Extra, Extra: Time Travel, Botched Pickups, and Police Sketches

Every weekday’s end, Extra, Extra collects just about everything you ought to care about or ought not miss.

St. Cahtherines-based filmmaker Jay Cheel is raising money to fund his documentary on people who believe in time travel, and the pitch reel (embedded above) looks super cool. Maybe consider giving him a few bucks if you like it. Or not.

The Grid has scoured the City for truly terrible pickup stories. Has a suicidal man in a wheelchair ever propositioned you for “passionate love” on the subway? No? You’re missing out.
And would you like to see a pretty ridiculous police sketch of some guy who’s wanted for attempted kidnapping? Okay, here you go.
