Scene: Protesting Budget Cuts at City Hall

Back in September: protesting proposed budget cuts outside while city council meets inside.

WHERE: Nathan Phillips Square

WHEN: Monday, 5:30–6:30 p.m.

WHAT: While city council was meeting inside to debate a raft of proposed budget cuts, outside, several thousand residents gathered to the sound of beating drums to protest those cuts.
