Scene: Dusk Dances

WHERE: Withrow Park
WHEN: Thursday evening, beginning at 7 p.m.
WHAT: Record attendance was set last night in Withrow Park for the 17th season of Dusk Dances, as families came out to enjoy a beautiful evening while being entertained by five dance acts in five different sections of the park. The annual pay-what-you-can event continues Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, with performances at 7 p.m. each night.

CORRECTION: August 5, 2011, 1:20 PM This post originally indicated that Dusk Dances would complete its run in Withrow Park on Saturday night, when in fact there is a show on Sunday at 7 p.m. as well. We regret the error.

    Cool. I can’t wait to check it out (and the Kensington satelite location too).
    Now my long weekend plans will include a trip to Bloor/Bathurst to check out the new digs and throw mud pies at any Dollarama I see.
