Another Toronto Maple Leafs season is in the books—another volume in what can feel like a multi-tome riff on Waiting for Godot. But while the team’s missed the playoffs six years in a row (which is 24 in Leaf-years) the Buds are finally budding with potential instead of wilting with age. Here’s a look back on the potential turnaround season for the puck turnover–prone franchise.
