Poll Position: Same Question, Same Results

Among all surveyed voters:

POLL TAKEN: October 15-17.
SAMPLE SIZE: 500.
MARGIN OF ERROR: +/-4.4%, 19 times out of 20.
CONDUCTED BY: Ipsos Reid, for Global TV.
NOTES: The steady stream of polls continues; so far all we’ve learned is that if you ask people the same questions over and over during the same three days, they’ll give you the same answers. Today’s numbers don’t differ substantially from the last two polls, all showing Ford and Smitherman in a statistical dead heat, with Pantalone a very distant third. (More details on today’s results are available here.) Ford has a small lead among those who are committed to voting on election day (39% to Smitherman’s 33%), but the bottom line is: not much has changed, and we still don’t have any idea how this race is going to end.

    “I’m voting for Dukakis.”

As a former Calgarian who`s been watching the municipal election unfold over there, I am so depressed about what`s going on in Toronto. Calgary, of all places, just elected a mayor of astounding intelligence and progressive cred, while Toronto gets these these two ass clowns–one cynically hungry for power, the other just dumb. (And Pants, I guess.)

`whose,` I mean in that first sentence. The nitpicker in me insists I correct my own error.

I’m pretty sure you were right the first time.
i.e. “who’s” = “who has” vs. “whose” = “possessive form for who”

    You just Muphry’d yourself.

You’re using back-ticks instead of apostrophes, though, so don’t worry, there is an error to correct!
