No matter what you think of this municipal election, its candidates, and its defining issues, one thing’s clear—election day is going to be a Big Deal. One way or another, the city’s future will be shaped, in perhaps dramatic fashion, by the results
Big deals deserve parties to mark them, and fortunately we’ve got one to tell you about. ArtsVote and Torontoist are teaming up to throw an election night bash. It’ll be fairly laid back—no big speeches or confetti drops are planned—just a mellow, friendly environment in which to chat, unwind, and watch the results come in over the course of the evening. The inside of the Cadillac Lounge has been booked, and the televisions will be turned on at 7 p.m.
After you cast your ballot, head on down. Because no matter the results, it’s much better to find them out in good company.
