Panoramaist: The Royal York Hotel’s Rooftop Garden

Panoramaist is the Toronto shoe-gazer’s worst enemy. In the virtual panoramas, created by Tony Makepeace, you can look up, down, side to side, in, and out—pretty much every direction but back at yourself, which would be kind of creepy.

Done while listening to Slowdive and the shoe-gazers will deal with the shoeless situation just fine.

how do you protect the ceiling of the building, having a garden growing on the rooftop, how many
layers, also what kind of protection from moisture and mold, keeping thoses elimintes at bay.
I’m very interested in the procedure, because i have a flat roof, would love nothing better then
to start a roof top garden, as i don’t have much of a yard. Not to mention i suspect you would need
to reinforce your roof somewhat, for the extra weight, I would imagine, whouldn’t you.
p.s. If your have the time, I sure would appriciate any extra info that you could pass on to me, would
be greatfully appriciated. Thank You very much. Rose Marie Portelance from Timmins, Ontario.
Hope to hear from you. Thanks again
