    Great shot. This building though, scares the shit out of me. I think all it will take is a stiff westward breeze to knock it over.
    How anyone who lives there can sleep peacefully at night, I have no idea!

    It’s called a huge water ballast at the top of the building that negates any sway. The building actually won awards for construction design and use of concrete. It is pretty amazing that a building , built like a sail, with a height-to-width ratio of 11:1, has such minimal sway.
    Great shot! This picture has given me a great idea on a photo contest for the building! Winning photographer wins a great weekend at the hotel and the winning picture featured in the lobby…hmmmm…
