Vandalist: The Price Of Graffiti

The Junction has had some sweet postering going on for the past while, at least half-year, that I’d guess is the same artist but might not be. I’m only there occasionally now but there’s always a few new pieces around… On my last visit I saw a pretty sweet 4-foot-tall SNES control pad in the little there’s-no-building-here-so-it’s-a-public-square space just east of the Academy of Realist Art at Dundas & Pacific, the same intersection that earlier in the year had a lazy cat on one corner and some woman dressed for tennis on another.

The odd thing is that there doesn’t seem to be a lot of fresh painted graff; almost everything I saw was old and fading.
